Anesthesia:  We understand that anesthesia is a concern for everyone, including us. That is why we follow standard pre-anesthesia protocols including blood work, electrocardiograms and full physical exams prior to all procedures. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. Our licensed veterinary technicians are monitoring your pet at all times before, during and after anesthesia using medical observation skills along with comprehensive assessment of vital signs using state of the art monitoring equipment.

Diagnostic Imaging Services:  Our on-site, digital dental x-ray and digital full-body X-ray equipment provides state of the art imaging to aid in the quick diagnosis of many disorders. Dr. Bando and Dr. Moerlein have also received advanced training and are experienced in ultrasound including doppler imaging available at the clinic.

We send additional specialized testing to outside veterinary laboratories and with daily FedEX dedicated service to these labs results are routinely available to share with you within 48-72 hours depending on the test.

Permanent identification: We offer Home Again microchip identification placement and can do all the registration steps for you to simplify the process.

Pharmacy:  We maintain a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins and nutritional supplements, medicated shampoos, worming medication along with flea, tick and lice control to meet the needs of your pet. We also carry a full line of prescription diets from Hill's Science Diet and other companies by special request.

Individualized Flea Control Programs:  We develop programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation. We will review with you the best ways to control fleas in your house, in your yard and on your pet.

Dietary Counseling:  We will provide guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.

Behavioral Counseling:  We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.

Bathing:  Therapeutic bathing for cats and dogs along with feline grooming services are available. Many cats with poor coats, unkempt hair are recommended to have a physical examination by your veterinarian as cats are generally so meticulous that poor grooming may indicate underlying disease such as dental or oral disease, arthritis or other sources of pain or discomfort.

Emergency Care:  Please 907-299-1705 after regular clinic hours to reach the veterinarian on duty. This phone line is exclusively for emergency situations you are experiencing with your pet or farm animal. If it is not answered immediately do leave a clear message detailing the nature of your concerns and best contact number(s), the veterinarian may be dealing with another situation but will return your call as soon as possible. Out of hours clinic visits/house calls incur additional call out fees.
