Times are changing and we are trying to keep up. As you are all aware there was a government issued mandate issued Friday that included a stay-at home order and closure of all non-essential businesses. Although veterinary services are considered essential; spays, neuters, and non-essential appointments are not. As a result, we are post-poning all preventive care appointments and any non-urgent surgeries for at least 2-3 months. Due to the decreased number of appointments and to decrease our staff's potential exposure to the corona virus, we are shortening our hours until further notice.
Starting Thursday, 4/2/2020 new Clinic hours will be: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday 8:30a - 5:30p. Prescription and food pick-up will be available during these hours. Please note this may be subject to change depending on demand. We will keep both our facebook page and website up to date with our current hours.
The veterinarian on call will have the cell phone (907-299-1705) for urgent veterinary needs Wednesday and Friday. There will be no emergency fee if you need to be seen on either of these days - between the hours of 8:30-5:30p. Weekend and after-hours (after 5:30p) fees will remain unchanged.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this will cause. The health of our community and our pets is very important to us. We will keep you updated as the situation progresses.
Currently, there is no evidence to suggest that pets can be infected or transmit this virus. We are practicing social distance guidelines as put forth by the CDC. We are asking you to call when you get to the clinic, and we will go to the car to bring your pet in for exam and treatment.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please call 907-235-8960 or 907-299-1705.
